Thanks to the festival's partnership with ZDF, the TV presence of the Berlinale was expanded significantly since 2006. With its partner channel 3sat, ZDF will again provide extensive coverage of the 58th Berlin International Film Festival. The opening gala, the closing awards ceremony, and other festival highlights will be documented in various broadcast formats. Through the pool management of ZDF, other TV channels and journalists are provided with Berlinale footage.

As an additional service we will once again be providing live video streams on our website. All ceremonies in the Berlinale Palast, the arrival of guests to the film premieres in the Competition as well as all press conferences in the press conference room in the Hyatt Hotel will be broadcasted live over the Internet and archived for later viewing.
