The deadline for accreditation for the 59th Berlin International Film Festival has passed on Dec 15, 2008. Requests will no longer be accepted.

The Berlin International Film Festival is a privately operated event. Filmmakers, journalists, representatives of the film industry and other festivals may apply for accreditation. They will receive accreditation if they meet the festival’s current accreditation guidelines.

European Film Market (EFM)
Generally, any accreditation authorises access to the European Film Market. Professional guests with a Market Badge, EFM Screening Pass or Multiple Day Pass are given priority access. Access to film screenings in the EFM is restricted to holders of a Market Badge or EFM Screening Pass.
